The United Nations Secretary General H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-moon, arrived here Tuesday night at around 7:30 pm (GMT+7) with his spouse and entourage on an official visit to Cambodia.
The Secretary General was greeted and received at the Phnom Penh International Airport by H.E. Mr. Khieu Kanharith, Cambodian Minister at the Ministry of Information.
During his three-day visit to Cambodia, the UN Chief is scheduled to hold the official talks with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen tomorrow and pay visit to the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, Royal Palace, the Tuol Sleng Genocidal Museum and the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital .
The UN secretary-general is on a four-nation tour of Asia that also includes Thailand ,Cambodia, Vietnam and China.
