Samdech Hun Sen to Leave for ACMECS meeting

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affair, Samdech Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia will lead a top-level delegation to attend the 2nd Summit on strategy for economic co-operation or
ACMECS which will take place on November the 2nd and 3rd, 2005 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The member countries of ACMECS are Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Hor Namhong, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation and his Thai counterpart Kantathi Suphamongkhon are expected to sign Memorandum of Understanding between Cambodia and Thailand on applying ACMECS visa.
Prior to the Summit, Samdech Hun Sen will participate in the 4th World Buddhist Conference to be held on the November 1, 2005 in Bangkok .(ends)
