Cambodia’s Association of Engineering Institutions and Organization to Save War Victims in Cambodia signed October 24, 2005 Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation Agreement to source fund for the
construction of “Cambodia World Buddhist Center” including the statue of Buddha, center for multi-vocational training, center for young plants and the conservation of bilogy.
The memorandum was signed by Professor Meas Sokhom, president of Cambodia’s Association of Engineering Institutions and Mr. Chan Soben, the president of Organization to Save War Victims.
The projects, according Raksmey Kamouchea, will be implemented across the country by offering school buildings, training programs, and technical skills to people so that they can find relevant jobs to make the living.(ends)
