In his keynote remarks, Premier Techo Hun Sen pointed out that in the rectangular strategy of the Royal Government of Cambodia clearly defines that the women are the national economic and social backbone.
He further said that the government is committed to promoting and practicing political policy to promote gender equality.

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen (Left) meets with his Thai counterpart H.E. Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva in Hanoi on October 28 on the sidelines of the 17th ASEAN Summit and other related Summits.
During the meeting, the two leaders focused on further deepening the close cooperation, particularly to further build the confidence between the two countries.

The United Nations Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-moon accompanied by Cambodia’s Information Minister H.E. Khieu Kanharith visit this morning to the Tuol Sleng Genocidal Museum, a former notorious Khmer Rouge Prison (S21) and makes a short statement as well as holds a press conference there.
